Modeling Reality with Virtual Worlds

What are different ways these virtual worlds can be used?

Virtual worlds do exist and they exist in may ways. In the article by Diane Mehta, she says a virtual world like mine craft exists for kids, to let their imagination do anything, I have smaller cousins, and when i see the things they created on mine craft is really impressive. Virtual worlds exist for older people like the sims and the Video game console Grand theft Auto. The game grand theft auto 5 really is an open world. What i found the most interesting thing about this virtual world , is the stock exchange, while the market is controlled by the game developers, I have had friends who really got into the the way which stock will make money and in a virtual environment have gotten rich.

What are the pros and cons? Be specific.
 Pros:
-Work can be done from anywhere and any time
-easy access in developed countries
-most training can be self taught
- work at a self control environment

Cons:
- As stated in the CNN article by Mark Tutton, water cooler talk at a virtual office will be eliminated along with with socializing and conversations forgot to be brought up during a meeting
- Cost of creating a virtual world can be expensice
-technology can be experimental and may cause down time and not allow people to work
-the lack of physical communication can cause people to miss the proper physical communication

How do virtual worlds foster creativity?

In real life I can say we aren't as creative because we know that we will have real life consequences if we try something new and doesn't go our way.

What do you think the future of virtual worlds will look like?

I think the virtual worlds are going to be more realistic. I have watched headgear created used for games, the movement of the players and into the virtual avatar was so accurate. This was the the game changer for me.
